Built from rugged T-Formex Lite, the Huron 17 weighs just 59 lb while offering an impressive 1,000 lb carrying capacity. That combination gives you plenty of room for paddlers, camping gear and supplies without making the canoe overly difficult to car-top or portage.

The shallow-arch hull provides a dependable blend of stability and efficiency, while 3.5 inches of rocker at the bow and stern helps the canoe respond confidently on winding rivers and changing water conditions. Webbed seats and vinyl gunwales come standard, with options including wood gunwales, skid plates and a third seat.

At Wilderness Supply, we work hard to keep canoe pricing fair and predictable. Canoe prices are either listed at the manufacturer’s MSRP or include a small portion of the freight cost to one of our retail locations, with the rest covered by us. That means in-stock canoes and boats pre-ordered on our regular bulk shipments don’t incur surprise shipping fees.

Canoes ordered outside our bulk shipment windows may incur additional freight charges to our retail store locations. We will always discuss and confirm that with you in advance.
